Scouting for Food Service Project 

On Saturday, February 2rd, 2008 Troop 175 participated in the annual Flint River Council Scouting for Food service project.  Scouts in Class "A" uniforms met at the UMC Windgate Campus. We then distributed the donation bags to the designated residential areas in Peachtree City.

The following week, February 9th, at 9:00 AM we will collect the bags that will hopefully be filled with cans, for delivery by the Flint River Council to area food banks. We need a few parent volunteers to drive Scouts.

Each day is worth 1 hour of service hours. Remember, the more Scouts we have, the more food we will collect for this important cause, and the faster it will be!
