Revolutionary Days at
Kettle Creek 

Troop 175 received an invitation from the Georgia Society of the Sons of the American Revolution to attend the Revolutionary Days events in Wilkes County, Georgia. Troop 175 participated in the morning parade around Washington, Georgia and also assisted the Battle of Kettle Creek ceremony by providing a shuttle bus for attendees and assisting with handling of the wreaths. Army Historians from nearby Fort Gordon guided the Scouts on a battlefield tour. After camping overnight at nearby Knox Scout Reservation, Troop 175 members earned the Historic Trails Award. Scouts also completed achievements towards the American Heritage Merit Badge.
