Local and National Tour Permit Procedures
- Download the form and print out
a copy.
- Complete the form, including the back side listing vehicle and driver information. A separate document may be attached listing the vehicles and drivers.
- Details of the activity, and the names of all required adult volunteers, levels of adult training required for the conduct of the activity, and signatures must be included.
- Deliver, mail or fax the local tour permit request to a Flint River Council Service center
- The Council staff will review and approve the tour permit.
- Do not venture forth on the planned activity without confirming approval either by return pick-up, mail or fax of the stamped form.
Youth Protection
Effective January 2003 both the local and national tour permit application require that at least one adult present during the event or activity must have completed the BSA Youth Protection Training. The national tour permit will continue to require that all registered adults have completed the BSA Youth Protection Training for participation in a nationally sponsored event/activity.
