Troop Visits
Dear Friend,Thank you for taking the time to visit Troop 175. It was a pleasure for the troop to host you and we hope that you had a good time and learned a little about our troop during your visit. If you are available, we strongly suggest you visit us during our annual Open House.
Please view this special message for our visitors.
There are many opportunities for Scouting in Peachtree City and any troop would be a good decision for you. We feel strongly that Troop 175 offers one of the most comprehensive and active programs in the area.
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Troop 175 seeks to accomplish the aims and methods of Scouting in every activity we undertake. Please know that we take our responsibility very seriously and we appreciate the opportunity to work with you and your family as you follow your Trail to Eagle! There is also a place in our Troop for your parents to help keep our program strong.
The key to this success is our commitment to a very structured First Class Emphasis program for our first year Scouts. We select a summer camp with a solid outdoor skills program. It is our goal that a Scout makes First Class Rank within 12 months of joining the troop.
As Scoutmaster, I certainly hope that you will consider Troop 175 for your future in Scouting. I am available if you have questions or would like to talk. You may indicate your interest in joining the troop by responding to this offer. Invitations will be delivered to your home in December.
